Our Islamic Studies department provides courses in:

1. الدراسات القرآنية والتجويد

Ad-Dirāsāt al-Qur’āniyyah wa At-Tajwīd
 Qur’anic Studies and Tajwīd: Study of the Qur’an, including correct pronunciation, rules of recitation, memorization, and understanding of meanings.

2. الحديث وعلومه

Al-Ḥadīth wa ʿUlūmuh
 Hadith and Its Sciences: Study of the sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet ﷺ, including classification, authenticity, and methodology of Hadith.

3. الفقه

Al-Fiqh
 Islamic Jurisprudence: Understanding the laws of Islam governing worship, transactions, and daily life, derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

4. أصول الفقه

Usūl al-Fiqh
 Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence: Study of the rules and methodology used by scholars to derive legal rulings from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

5. علم الفرائض

ʿIlmul Farā’īḍ
 Science of Inheritance: Understanding Islamic inheritance laws and the correct distribution of estates according to Shariah.

6. مصطلح الحديث

Mustalah al-Ḥadīth
 Terminology of Hadith: Study of Hadith terminology, classifications, and methods used to assess authenticity and reliability.

7. العقيدة

Al-ʿAqīdah
 Islamic Creed: Study of Islamic beliefs, understanding Tawheed (Oneness of Allah), and fundamentals of faith.

8. السيرة النبوية

As-Sīrah An-Nabawiyyah
 Prophetic Biography: Study of the life, character, and leadership of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and lessons from his journey.

Each program is tailored to foster a deep spiritual understanding and cultivate strong moral character.

We offer comprehensive programs in:

1. النحو

Nahw
 Arabic Grammar: Study of sentence structure, syntax, and grammatical rules to read, write, and speak correctly.

2. الصرف

Sarf
 Morphology: Study of word forms, derivations, and patterns to understand meaning and structure.

3. المحادثة

Muḥādathah
 Conversation: Practical training in spoken Arabic for everyday communication and fluency.

4. الأدب

Adab
 Arabic Literature: Study of classical and modern literary texts, poetry, prose, and literary analysis.

5. متن اللغة

Matn al-Lughah
 Core Language Texts: Study of foundational texts in Arabic for comprehension and memorization.

6. المطالعات

Mutaaliat
 Reading Comprehension: Practice in reading, understanding, and interpreting Arabic texts.

7. العروض

Aruud
 Arabic Prosody: Study of poetic meters, rhythm, and patterns in classical Arabic poetry.

8. الإنشاء

Inshā’
 Composition & Writing: Practice in writing essays, letters, and creative texts with proper style and clarity.
